All my wire wrapped art pendants start with a stone or my lampwork glass bead. I study the stone or bead to decide which way to start wrapping the wire. My wire wrapping designs evolve as I work on them. Each piece has unique wire wraps and coils to accent the stone or bead and show it off best.
